Level 2 Award
Safe Moving and Handling (RQF)
The most valuable asset of any company is the employee. Accordingly, business management, no matter how large or small, has both moral and legal responsibilities to assure the health and safety of those employed by any company as well as non-employees.

The law states that employers have a legal responsibility to provide adequate training for all individuals who perform manual handling tasks as part of a work-related role no matter how regular or infrequent when there exists a potential for risk. This is law is particularly important considering that over a third of all work injuries are related to incorrect manual handling.
